1. The first step involves calling or emailing me to discuss, without obligation, your book cover design project.
2. I will take the factors of your book project into consideration and email you a pdf of my estimate. Once that is settled I'll send you an agreement.
3. If you don't have any images in mind I'll do a search for images that I feel could work for your the cover of your book. Once the image(s) is agreed upon I'll create two sample designs of the front cover.
4. After the front cover book design is done to your satisfaction I will continue with the style we established on the back cover and spine.Text and barcode for this side will need to be sent
5. I will communicate with your printer to go over specifications. I'll request a proof for both us so that we know exactly what the final product will look like.
6. Lastly, I will send you final copies of all your book cover design files. That includes PDF's, Photoshop files, and jpegs used for advertising.
Included in Price:
- Free Consultation with Jaad to discuss book cover design elements
- Two book cover design samples
- Choice of any 3 photos in stock at stock.xchng or other free site
for use on cover. Images that must be purchased run between $25.00 - $300.00
- Basic image manipulation (combine up to three images and make adjustments/effects)
- Final PDF proof for approval prior to sending files to printer
Additional Costs
Extra proofs beyond two mentioned above I charge $40/hr
